I have always been keen on developing my understanding of animals and how they think. My initial work was training horses, then, as the injuries piled up, I switched to working with pets. 

After completing a Bachelor of Applied Science with a major in Companion and Recreation Animals, I began working at Guide Dogs QLD, where I worked my way up from animal attendant, through pretty much every position type, until I eventually was training other Trainers. 

After a brief tree change living off the grid, I returned to the city and started work with Greencross/Petbarn. I moved into the newly created role of Head Trainer around eight years ago, and have been working on creating and expanding our training offering ever since.
